mould design

According to the national professional definition, mold design is a person who is engaged in the digital design of enterprise mold, including cavity mold and cold stamping mold. On the basis of traditional mold design, fully apply digital design tools to improve mold design quality and shorten mold design cycle.

concept

The overall structure of stamping die can be divided into two parts:

(1) Common parts.

(2) The part that changes according to the product. Common parts can be standardized or normalized, while parts that change according to products are difficult to normalize.

Specifications

1. Composition of formwork

The composition of stamping die will be divided into two categories, namely, forward configuration structure and reverse configuration structure, depending on the type, composition and difference of die. The former is a commonly used structure, while the latter is mainly used for drawing forming dies or matching special dies.

2. Mold specification

(1) Die dimensions and locking screws

The size of the formwork shall be larger than the working area, and the standard formwork size shall be selected. The position of the locking screws of the formwork is related to the type of mould and the size of the formwork. Among them, locking screws are often used for single engineering dies to be arranged at four corners, and standard working areas can be widely used. Long moulds and continuous moulds are often equipped with locking screws at four corners and in the middle.

(2) Thickness of formwork

The selection of the thickness of the formwork is absolutely related to the structure of the die, the type of stamping, the processing force of stamping, and the precision of stamping. It is difficult to determine the thickness of the mold based on theoretical calculation. Generally, it is obtained from experience. The types of template thickness used in the design should be as few as possible. The height of the mold and the clamping height should be standardized to facilitate procurement and inventory management.
